Driving out of London on the A40 this lunch time my I3 flashed up a grey screen sayingsomething about new routable maps available.
Anyone got any ideas? |

cant really see how this has happened..garmin have absolutely no control on what your gps can recieve (only the us goverment has this power) so there is no way they could have 'sent' this message via the satellites... _________________ *************************** |

My thoughts exactly! But the message appeared!
I was in traffkic and the grey box was the same one that comes up when it is recalculating or saying that it is waiting for better accuracy. |

Firstly, what version of City Select/Navigator are you on?
Secondly, I seem to remember somewhere that Garmin say they update maps once a year, I wonder whether this is a hard-coded thing that has detected that the maps are a year old.
Has anyone else had that problem. I used mine today and didn't get such a message. |
