i3 volume problem

Just been and bought an i3 at PC World (cancelled my order with Maplin!), and loading the software update and cameras/POI was a dream (Thanks MaFt).
One slight glitch in that when I was playing around with the volume, every time I got to 5, which admittedly seemed very loud, the unit turned itself off. Anyone else had this problem?

hi there - not had this happen with mine - does it do this when powered by the external power lead or only on batteries...

try flashing again and if it happens again take the unit back (lucky you brought it local)

It happened when it was being powered via the usb. I've tried it with batteries and the ext. power lead and it seems to be fine now.

on mine when the volume is set to 5 the sound breaks up around the edges.
