streetpilot I3 - audio problem

I have just bought a new I3, however I am the the following problem. For example when the unit asks you to turn left in say point 3 of a mile, it just says turn left in "point" and then there is no number. This is an intermittent problem - sometimes it states a distance at othertimes it doesn't - has anyone else had this problem ?

I think this one may have been discussed elsewhere? If it were me, i would try a complete system reset and reload version 2.5.......hope this helps. Others may have a much more practiacl solution?...........

friendlybloke is right...reload version 2.50 and if the problem persists try loading a different langauge and then back to british english making sure the load completes fully

Have just downloaded the 2.5v software again, changed the language to German and then changed it back to English and guess what - it now works perfectly - thanks Zogman and Friendly bloke - youve been far more help than the official garmin helpdesk who hadn't got any sort of solution!
