The supplied POIs cannot be altered or deleted (unless you wish to delete the whole set).

There is a POI.DAT file. Delete this and all the built-in POIs are deleted.

They are stored in a file called POI.dat and no, they can't be amended at the moment. Perhaps one day. Rolling Eyes

Moving back on topic. I see that http://www.tomtomfree.com aka http://www.tomtompoi.net is now offering (i.e. selling) a Low Bridges "Software and data pack" for £7.99 plus £1.50 post and packing, grand total of £9.49.

I wonder where Tomtomfree obtained the data and also I wonder how the above Low Bridges information compare to the free Low Bridges POI offered by robinwalton. BTW the robinwalton POI database now has over 2000 locations.

BTW, this post implies no insinuations as to the origins of the data. I’m just genuinely interested in the Low Bridges information.

Regards,

So would I like to know the origins of the data, as all can be found on my web sites poi page for free.

I have been communicating with Robin for some months now, and our data has a legitimate source.
