Memory Map Navigator with 1/2 mil CAA map

Has anyone used the Memory Map software on a PDA GPS with the 1/2 mil or 1/4 mil CAA aeronautical maps or are there any reviews out there.

Yes, I have used MM CAA maps extensively with the 1/2 mil probable the most practical.

As these are exactly the same maps as the paper versions we regularly fly with there is an instant familiarity.

The MM plotting facilities are easy and the position and direction displays very clear. You can also get an adjustable display of speed, direction, distance to next waypoint etc. as a bonus.



If you are yet to invest in hardware then get the brightest display possible. eg. Ipaq 39** preferable to 38** as used in the article.
