David Bradford has sent us in his custom mount review.
David decided to sell his Navman GPS3000 sleeve, which then left him like many with where is the best position to mount my Compaq iPAQ 3970 and how to power it and his new Emtac/Socket BT GPS.
David found the solution, in a universal gadget mount. It is a basic windscreen suction mount/flexible arm affair, terminating in a flat felt covered plate, behind which sits a powerful magnet. the usual square patch of metal backed with a powerful 3M adhesive pad and it's associate part.
Unfortunately, mine has broken, and they seem to have been discontinued by Global Positioning Systems at least. Anyone else stock them, or anyone know of an equivalent product?
