I am really sorry about another post for help with the navman icn510 speed camera database, what i want to know is where are the bmp files for use with the .csv i have found the six .csv files in the 'other' folder but their are no bmp files i have looked at the instructions and understand that the files need to be edited and saved using notepad and not excel but i am unsure about the .bmp files. I have already locked up one icn510 by messing about with it which was exchanged and i don't want to damage another, also will the supplied SD card be large enough or will i need to use my kingston 512mb high speed card. |

The corresponding bmp files are found in the 'ov2 bmp' folder. _________________ Richard

I know i said only one other question but i do have another, when connecting and disconnecting the icn510 their is no button or option to stop the icn from communicating with the computer like you have with other usb devices by using the 'safely remove hardware' next to the clock in winxp when you want to disconnect surely you don't just pull out the lead without interupting the communication. Could someone please clarify what is the correct way to connect and disconnect the icn510 from the computer. Thanks in advance, Derek. |

The continental cameras are some of the cameras on the continent.
Spec cameras are cameras that come in pairs along roads and they recognise each car that passes the first camera, then when the car reaches the second camera, works out the average speed.
I would use the 5 categories of cameras because any of the different types could pop up anywhere. You leave out the continental ones unless you are going to Europe.

Your present SD card should be big enough for the camera database.

It's a while since I've used ActiveSync, but I believe Smart Desktop tells you when it's working and when it's finished. _________________ Richard
