Hi

I just put all the BMP and OV2 files in my Great Britain Map on TOMTOM 5, it overwrote others no problem...

It works fine but the MPH warning signs don't come up anymore, why is this???

I am not sure how they are meant to work, i.e. do you load the whole lot onto the card (not inc folders) or just select what type???

I enabled them but dont seem to work but all else ok.

There are 3 setups for speed cameras.

The first is a single file that contains all the cameras together, without any reference to what type. This is named pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2 and found in the 'single file version' folder.

Second is the 5 file version that divides the cameras into types. Gatso, Mobile, Specs, Redlight and Temporary. These you will find in the 'ov2 bmp' files.

Third is the full 13 file version that divides the Gatso and Mobile files into speed zones. There are 7 each of the Gatso and Mobile files. These are found in the 'speed zoned/gatso/ov2 bmp' and speed zoned/mobile/ov2 bmp' folders. Add to these the Specs, Redlight and Temporary files as above.

I have not included the Continental file because you will only need this if going to the continent.. But should you want it , it's in the 'ov2 bmp' folder.

I should have added that putting all the files in means that some are overlayed onto others. Ifyou have loaded them all you will have Gatso and Mobile cameras in 3 files!!

This looks like the one for me, so when setting up in TOMTOM 5, I should put a warning on each one, will the pic of the camera come up or the 30MPH or both? as on last one both came up somehow.

Also what is Gatso TBA? (To Be Arranged I take it)

They are the cameras that the speed limit is not known. Once somebody confirms the speed limit for a particular camera and notifies Pocketgps cameras then that camera location will get moved into the appropriate speed related file. There is also a Mobile TBA for the same reason.
