Directional data

How is it done?
I know at the moment that the Pocket GPS database does not offer directional data on speed cameras but others like road angel can do it.
How do they do it?
Is it an extra column of data in the file? how do they flag it?
I would like to try it out but I'm stumped!!

I reckon it the camera has a "bearing" and if the roadangel matches the bearing you are travelling on within 10 degrees either way then it will trigger the alert.

If you are 180 degrees out then you are obviously coming the other way.
