|
|
Apple have just approved our 1.0.1 release which means it should appear in the various Appstores soon.
This is a maintenance release that fixes an issue that caused CamerAlert to crash in a few instances and also implements a minor change to the directional arrow.
Although the crashing issue affected only a small number of the users running the app we wanted to get this release out as soon as possible to resolve the issues for those so affected.
Please note that if you have not managed to launch the app in the first release you should de-install the old version before installing this version.
Changes: The directional arrow in list mode is now yellow when in night mode to make it more visible.
We are now concentrating our resources on covering some of the feature requests that have been made since CamerAlert was released. If you have a particular request (within what is achievable!) please post it in the CamerAlert forum area.
If you have yet to sample CamerAlert for iPhone, more info is available on the iTunes app page here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not had chance to test it on the road but as one of those that submitted crash logs, I've been able to launch the new release many times without a crash. Thanks. |

Impressed - I didn't need this announcement, my iPhone said I had an update (even though I wasn't running CamerAlert) which I clicked and down came release 1.0.1. As my TT car kit arrived whilst I was out today, I'll at last be able to start using CamerAlert tomorrow. Technically, "WooHoo!" _________________ Dennis

I don't think WooHoo is a technical term but I'll accept it this twice. App ran perfectly this morning with yellow arrows and stuff, so Woo-Hoo indeed! _________________ Dom

Not unless your iPhone is JailBroken as it does not support full multitasking. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ok Here's what I did
1. Deleted all crash logs
2. Deleted Cameralert from Iphone
3. Removed Cameralert from Itunes
4. Rebooted
5. Downloaded Cameralert again via Itunes
6. Sync'd
7. Used Cameralert for one day before it started crashing
emailing crash logs again
look forward to your reply thanks Nobber |
