Yes, I already looked them up. I was trying to gently hint that some of us don't know what they mean, so to use them on a public forum is unkind to the rest of us.
In other words, next time you do it, I might smack your legs and send you to the naughty step. (In the best possible taste of course) - because we haven't got a throw your legs around smileycon (unless mostdom is watching, coz he has smileycons for everything). _________________ Dennis

erm... there's only one response possible to all that (well, only one that's halfway polite, I mean ), and that is:
Not the NAUGHTY STEP?!?!?!

I'm not like that at all.
Having said that, we are drifting a little OT. _________________ Richard

There is a short news item in this week's Auto Express (23-29 April, page 12). I can't find it on their web site.
It ends "The Wi-Fi cameras, made by RedSpeed, based in Kidderminster, Worcs, are being trialled on the northbound stretch of London's Blackwall Tunnel, and will catch drivers exceeding 30 mph."
There is a photograph of the camera housing which looks like a yellow monitron, with a Wi Fi logo on the top front. |

Now why didn't I see that when I looked? Yes, that looks like the housing pictured in AE, except for the Wi Fi logo. So, is there any sign of these anywhere apart from the Blackwall Tunnel? The article which prompted this thread said "Thirty-four devices have been put up along a five-mile stretch of the A13 between Canning Town and the Gorsebrook interchange to the east of the capital." Has anyone actually seen these yet? Have we had any submissions for them? |

Once they put these past the Goresbrook Interchange its going to knacker a lot of people. You can easily go 70-80 on the way to Lakeside!!! |
