And haven't we just shown that (even if they lost 2-1) the love and respect of your fellow forum members is a beautiful thing. Group hug, group hug. _________________ Dennis

Ok! So I didn't let on that I was going to be redoing my test at any point soon, mainly because I felt I just couldn't let you folks down again, and I probably wouldn't take the rejection.
As of 20min ago I took my second Advanced driving test and with the same examiner as last time, and on much the same route, and the only one who knew was DennisN. Moral is, DennisN is a bit of a good luck charm and if you give him a rub, you'll be alright, because...
I PASSED
This puts me in a very good frame of mind as on Thursday next week I'm out of here on my annual prigramage to the French alps for some skiing. If interested I'll be staying here (45.297954, 6.582184) in a resort call Val Thorens. And as I always drive I'll be on the look out for new and Pcamera locations.
If anyone is interested in trying out for the IAM advanced test don't be put off by this thead as it really is worth it! _________________ Dom

Well, I'm Jolly Happy for you Dr.
When I clicked on the email link to this topic, it said it didn't exist, so I'm not sure how many of the faithful will find it. At least I know and you know I didn't let it out.
I'm trustworthy and I like being rubbed.
Take your woollies next Thursday - from my satellite view it looks like they've got snow. _________________ Dennis

Congratulations MostDom
Have fun in the Alps.
Is it one of those pilgrimages where the bibles have handles?? (Steins)
It's nice to see you and Dennis getting along for once instead of rubbing our favourite white van man up the wrong way
I've been to Val Thorens and it's a lovely place with great skiing _________________ Andy

Crikey. I went out to give my car celbratory clean and wow! I have to say thanks to all of you not only for the words of support but because somehow it seemed like you'll all never settle untill I could come up with some closure.
Dentistry is out of the question as I'm on the receving end of what one is doing to me at the moment and I don't like it, and I don't have the stomach to remember what Dennis' teeth looked like.

Yes, kneeling is dangerous because you can get frostbite in the knees, singing loudly can causes an avalanche, and the wine is hot!
Next - I'll let you know! Ideas welcome _________________ Dom

Learning to fly in this counrtry is quite expensive, but certainly an idea.
