Ah I see now but I can't help thinking this is a gimmick and a waste of processing? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Well the C-64 was doing something similar with Sprites, and it had a 1MHz processor, so I doubt that on a Nuvi it uses a lot of CPU time.
After all it only has to decide which one of the 72 160x160 pixels images it must use, depending on orientation and visualisation type.
The cursor is after all fixed, it is not moving all over the screen. |

oi, I wonder where this was 'pinched' from - I'm surprised you didn't put "With more custom curses than Murphy's got laws."
...but at least people don't struggle to understand my posts

It was SARCasm, refering to the gimmicy nature of a rotating cursor.
Do I have to explain everything!

Is there any way to get the custom cursor on a One 3rd edition ? It obviously has the v7 navcore....but does not seem to have a custom cursor option. |

Not forgetting of course that they are copyright to Garmin and:

You may not, without the prior written permission of the Company, "mirror" any material contained on this Web Site on any other server. |
So they shouldn't end up on here... |

Of course we are aware of the Copyright issues and wasn't suggesting we would host them. Nothing to prevent individuals from modifying them for their own use though as that wouldn't contravene Garmin's Copyright and Terms for usage. _________________ Darren Griffin |
