It's probably a lot easier if you just post the .jpg versions and email me the bitmaps if you have them (if not I'll convert them). I can then upload them to our server and edit the post.
It seems that the sample code I posted may only be used by Admin's, apologies for that _________________ Darren Griffin |

edit Arrggg Why won't the image appear?
Cheers
Paul | I looked at the picture by pasting the url. It's not full on rear view, plus being black I reckon it wouldn't show up with enough contrast, plus I have phobias against black cars (Edit below) - they're the ones that always cut you up!! |
I drive a black kia cerato and I havn't cut anybody up all afternoon
Ken |
Edit - Except black Kia Ceratos - they couldn't cut anybody up if they tried. And I do NOT drive a white Kangoo van with a freebie PocketGPSWorld sticker in the back window. _________________ Dennis

Yeah and I picked up two (with full permission) because I'll be getting a new Kangaroo next March 1st and I'll need one for that (and I don't know whether the next show will be before I get it). I do believe I challenged you to go to Sandown Park and you declined for some Softy SuperPants reason.
Edit But I wasn't allowed a T-Shirt. _________________ Dennis

Being as Softy SuperPant's GIF didn't work, maybe this one will (it came from him in the first place anyway, so if it doesn't, blame him.
Hah!! I see it's not GIFFING, goes to show he hands out duff GIFs.
Too far away from home? Starting up with the excuses already are we? there hasn't even been an announcement about it yet. I 'spect the chance of you going there are similar to your chances of winning the 720 in this (last) month's compo! _________________ Dennis

Thank you for the gifs, they all loaded, but there was no animation displayed
Note, the red on the for focus was visable. I don't know if it was 255,0,0 red or something elsde, or that there is a difference with the gif formatting that prevents it from being transparent.
Cheers

Try with a GIF which GIFs
Well, there you go. The three troubles are ...
1. Who'd want a cursor that does that?
2. It's a teensy bit too big (96 x 96 pixels).
3. It's not surrounded by red.
Mind you, if I had even the remotest idea of how to do it, I'd resize it to 80 x 80 AND change the wording to something like "FOLLOW ME" or "THIS WAY DENNIS".
Ah well. Now less than 12 hours to arrival of my new 720. Must be off to google for a program to do GIFs _________________ Dennis

It said "This picture cannot be used as a car symbol"
Thanks for trying.

I sent Darren my gif so he may upload it soon to try, but seeing that it probably won't work that seems like a waste now. Interesting it will load and display non animated .gifs??? Maybe there is something in that! |
Day off! I wish, I took a few hours off in the evening to attend a car club meeting. Now uploaded.
I'm away for two weeks from next week though so you'll be on your own ;) _________________ Darren Griffin |

Try the big P on my earlier post. It's a simple 5 frame gif, might work.
Thanks Darren _________________ Dom

Ihave done a pic of my PTCruiser in photoshop, but in order to save a transparent background I have to save as a GIF or PNG file.
I see all the ones here on the site are in JPG format and not as BMP files required by tomtom.
Could someone please explain how to get the image with a transparent background in the correct format for the tomtom (when it arrives).
Thanks
