CoPilot from ALK (TravRoute) wins the Third Annual Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Award in the Travel/GPS Software category.
The finalists in this category consisted of Destinator 2, TomTom Navigator 2 and CoPilot Live.
Congratulations ALK!

I have looked at the link and can find no mention of the CoPilot version number. Yes, the ALK link goes to v6, but this is (I believe) just a page which shows the current version, so it will show CoPilot 6 now.
As the new version is only just being released, are they are referring to the previous version?
If you look at the PPC section (where TomTom 5 took the award), CoPilot is still at v5.
Does anyone know for definate which version won the award? |

The voting was from 1-31st August 2005 - before the release date for version 6, but there might have been beta versions around. |

I cannot imagine that any beta version would be given an award - after all the product is not available for general use. |
