This is frustrating...
I need to log into my TomTom account. I couldn't remember my login so I thought I'd create a new account - I got an error saying I already had an account with that email.
Fair enough, I probably have. So, I do a password reset - that just goes to an error page... Still can't log in and only have 1 attempt left before my account gets blocked.
So I go to their contact/support page, fill out the contact form for 'I cannot log into my account' - the response? "Thanks for your message. We will not be able to contact you as there is no TomTom account registered with this email address."
Fun! So I have a Schrödinger's TomTom Account! I both have an account and don't have an account at the same time...
Good job it's not for a review of their flagship device that kinda needs the TomTom / MyDrive stuff to work for the bells and whistles that make it their premium device... |

Cheers - phoned them. Not very helpful. They said there must be a problem on my account and I should just create a new one |

So, after nearly 2 weeks and various emails with their tech support the team that it was escalated to came back with 'you just need to create a new account with a new email address'.
Not very helpful at all!! |

it is a call centre, the occupants get bonuses for how quickly they can mark your call complete. Go figure how they will play that.
Same for every call centre. |
