So you've splashed out on an iPad 3G and marveled at the technology that allows you to view digital Ordnance Survey map data on a large screen. But do you really want to risk taking your iPad outdoors in the great British weather?

Or perhaps you've loaded up your iPad with some digital magazines and eBooks for the summer holidays. Perfect for lazy days by a hotel pool. Until you remember the fun'n'games as people dive (or get pushed) in and everything gets soaked.

Thankfully there is a solution, and an inexpensive one at that, courtesy of Aquapac, the experts in all weather protection for your cameras, electronics and other gear.

Read our review here.

Haven't used this actual case but I have used one of Aquapac's compact camera cases which is manufactured and designed in the same way.
I used it on holiday as we did a lot of snorkeling and I can confirm they are very waterproof. Soemone else in our group and a approved waterproof case for tehir camera and that leaked. Ours didn't
We got some superb underwater pictures and videos.
If I had an iPad I woudl certainly be looking to get one of these.

Firstly £25 for a plastic bag with a strap for those odd rare times it could rain or you might get it splashed by the pool or take it to the beach. Come on a 10p resealable freezer bag will do exactly the same job at a fraction of the price for those rare outings you will just miss out on the £24.89 strap.
