When you start up copilot, and it says 'welcome to copilot live', just use the volume control buttons on the left hand side of the phone to control the voice volume.

That's the system volume though, rather than an app volume i.e. if I'm playing music it affects both. CoPilot in particular is very loud relative to the music volume, so I'm almost deafened every time it updates.

I've also spotted that I cannot adjust TomTom's volume when connected via Bluetooth - the volume slider does nothing. So again it seems to only control system volume. Maybe the programmers cannot create an in-app volume with the iPhone, but it definitely has an in-app volume on Windows Mobile.

The only way at the moment is to JailBreak your phone, then its quite easy to transfer the files to the device, doing this will void your warranty though - Mike

Assuming of course you can connect the faulty device to the computer to reload the OS, if it won't connect then you are stuffed with a JB phone that neither Apple or O2 woulod be interested in - Mike

OK, my device is jailbroken since the first day! Smile
But my question is, in which subdirectory are the POI's?
Where can i get the POI-files in the correct format?!

Regards...

ACE

PS.: No risk no fun! If you have the chance to jailbreake...just do it! Its the best thing ever you can do for an iPhone!Smile

the installation guide for speed cameras is here

in windows mobile and, i think, android you can put ov2 files in the same folder and install in the same way and they will show as custom pois.

my first guess would be to try the same in the iphone version

Perhaps the prices on the comparison chart could be updated, as Navigon is now £52.99 for the British Isles?

If that needs to be seconded consider it done, its not worth the space on the page as its a waste of money compared to whats available from the others when you look at iPhone specific applications - Mike

Thirded!

I feel a right prat for paying £60 for what is not even as good as I had on an XDA Exec with TT Nav6. I can't add PGPSW cameras, custom POIs or alerts. Unless there are promises soon of decent updates, I will probably not bother using it anymore, or buy the car kit.

The sad thing is I'm considering buying one of the new x50 series Rolling Eyes
