Try this:
1. Find the "ephem" folder on the TomTom itself and delete the contents (leaving the folder empty).
2. On your PC, go to where Home stores it's downloads (normally C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete on an XP machine) and find the "ephemeris" folder. Again, delete all the contents, leaving the folder empty.

That should kick-start the GPSQuickFix downloads again, next time you connect to Home.

Don't worry about the drive not showing up as named "TomTom" and the actual letter it uses will change from time to time if you add/ remove other USB memory devices to the PC such as digital cameras etc - Mike

Has your device not got an "ephem" folder in the root of the device? - It should be in there - Mike

When you connect the device to the PC and use Windows Explorer your device appears as a seperate drive letter, when you expand/ open this by clicking it you are in the "Root" directory, its the highest level available to you before you start to drill in to the individual folders - Mike

If you don't have the ephem folder that is why QGPSFix isn't being offered.

With your device connected to your PC just open the drive letter that is your TT with Explorer and create a folder called ephem

Now HOME should offer you the QGPSFix

TT made a mess of a Navcore release not long ago and missed out the ephem folder from the build .......
