I had a Drumma Visor for my Go 710 and having replaced the 710 with a 720 I am now looking for new Visor.

As far as I can tell, Drumma do not make a visor for the 720,so I am asking if anyone out there on the forum can recommend a suitable Visor

Hi Mike

Thanks for the speedy reply and the link therein.

The GlareStomper 320 looks just the thing for me.

I have used the Glare Stomper since the first Tom Tom Go, it is a great shade very deep. I have also had the firm make me Glare shades for my video monitors and Laptops, great company to deal with.
Tried this one from ebay but it is a waste of space.

You could always make one yourself. Sorry this is an out of focus image but it will give you an idea. Only used some black matt card and some DUCT tape.

It just slides tightly on the device & has holes for the power switch and the power/TMC connector. It folds flat when not in use.

Or the ZunZun shades, reviewed last year here. Simple but effective.

I have ordered one as well although I am a little reluctant to stick velco tape on the TT, I might try and add an elastic strap.

Why so cautious, it won't cause any harm and is easily removed?

Three days of sunshine in the UK and everyone is after sun shades! Let's hope for a better summer than the last one or these visors won't see much use - Mike

I don't want the tape to cover the battery state LED on the top of the 940 (I may be able to leave a gap) and also the left and right edges of the 940 are a sharp shape compared to other GOs that the tape may not stick well to. Also the Go x40 case is a very tight fit and the tape may make it too large or stick to it.

This is all based on the pictures I have seen rather than having recieved the tape and shade, so may be a bit premature.

It arrived today which was quick and I have put the velcro on the unit. A little tricky as I thought due to the sharp edges of the 940 but with a bit of trimming for the corners and the switch it went on. It looks a bit scruffy having fluff round the unit without the visor fitted but that is better than not being able to see it in strong sunlight. Still just fits in the official case. It says on the instructions leave for 24 hrs for the sticky velcro to cure before using.

My GlareStomper visor has now arrived and I am giving ten penneth of thought as to how much Velcro to put onto the G0720.

My thoughts to date are to just put a strip down each side and one along the top. All the strips to stop about 1/4inch from the corners of the Go.

The strip along the top would stop about 1/4inch short of the on?off button.

Does anyone else have any other ideas please.
