Excuse my ignorance but is the card slot on a 720 sd or sdhc? If it is sd then I need to buy one with an adapter for sdhc. How do you rate Transcend cards, or any recomendations of others. I read Mikes post as to class 6 being fastest. Thanks

As long as you have Navcore 8,300 or later installed your 720 will support SDHC up to and including 32GB capacity - Mike

Mike, Is that the case for all TTs with 8.3 or above?

It applies to all x20/ x30 and x40 devices, these units running 8,3xx or newer can support up to and including 32GB capacity cards, bear in mind the x40 needs the MicroSD or Transflash style card but even these are available in 32GB capacity these days at a rather costly purchase price though!
I am not too sure about the One/ XL range or Go-x10 devices as I think they can only use the standard SD cards - Mike

As far as I know, that is correct.
You *might* manage to get an SDHC card to work in a One or XL, but you are pushing your luck.

I'm using a 16GB Transcend SDHC card in my 720 for last two months, no problems at all. Got most of my MP3 collection installed and hundreds of pics, which have been reduced in size prior to copying onto card.
