transfer problems for s beginner

Hi Navman users
which is the best way to put the database onto a navman 510
the instructions i have been given is to transfer each individual camera site one at a time is this right and also how does one know which are the latest additions .couldn't it be done using a different colour each time

You don't put each individual location on the Device, just each category.

It's not possible to give new additions a separate colour, as each category has a bitmap for all them locations in that category.

I know you are having problems but Mike has pointed you to a full set of instructions and has given you the opportunity to explain exactly where it goes wrong.

Also posting multiple threads on the same subject is confusing and against forum rules. You'll end up with some people in one thread and some in another, all suggesting the same ideas and having to explain the same thing several times.
