Yesterday i put the new 710 maps onto my device, a 910. It's wierd as when i put the application on my device 7.162 before the new maps it was 13 mb or so. Now with the new maps i reinstalled the app because my menu had no help icon visible. My father in law has the same set up and he has a help icon. On reinstallation i still have no icon but the app has shrunk to 10.9 mb.
Wierd!, or is it just another anomoly from HOME. |

Are you running a custom Menu per chance, if so it will be this that is causing the problem with HelpMe and probably MapShare, look in the SdkRegistry folder and locate the file named TomTom.mnu, remove it and the two functions should both appear, next you will be saying the HelpMe guides such as first aid and country information don't work I think - Mike |

I do have a few crystal balls but they are getting close to needing replacing!!
Seriously though if there is anything at all in the SdkRegistry folder it will prevent the true menu from displaying thus giving you the problem you have!, what I would do is remove the contents of the SdkRegistry folder by copying them to your PC before deletion then try out the HelpMe function, once you have read through it put the SdkRegistry folder contents back on the device and forget about the contents, you will know what I mean when you have viewed it - Mike |

I find it easier just to take 1 letter out the SdkRegistry name. Saves moving it. _________________ Richard
