Sal.
That will be good.

Tamb75.
I just put in your camera, on an approach road to Autostrada d'Alemagna, and it does not show on my c710 MioMap 3.2 either. My UK cameras are still there OK.

Anyone any other ideas?

I've located the problem. It needs a program update but that will have to wait for a day or two. It doesn't affect UK cameras.

Further to my last for Tamb
I put in a couple of other cameras. on close to yours and another in France.
None of which showed up.

Now the spooky thing. I added three camera number as below. One in France and two in Italy

12.31195,45.64611,"GATSO:99996@70"
2.29043,50.3783,"GATSO:99995@70"
12.30979,45.64865,"GATSO:99994@70"

compiled the .mtc and they displayed.
I then took out the camera numbers, recompiled the .mtc and they disappeared.
I re inserted the numbers, recompiled and the one in France was still there but the two in Italy were still not there.

I am not sure whether the camera number is relevant (Sal?) but why they should appear then go away again puzzles me.

Ours posts 'crossed in the post'
Strange that they should be there and then not. Was that your interpretation of the problem that you have found.
Paying the mortgage again then, I see.

Tamb
I use speedcam builder v2.12. But read the post from SallyAnn above. She wrote the (mighty fine) speedcamBuilder software, and says that she has found a problem in her software that relates to the problem that you are having in Italy and will update her software soon. I expect that she will post an announcement of the update here when she has done it.

No need to appologise for your English, it's OK.

I have not changed the number yet because this is a very quick update for your use. It will need much testing before it is ready to release.

If you look around these forums you will see the work that other people have done on directions

Guys, Girls, Ladies and Gentlemen.

The time has come where PocketGPSWorld.com are making full use of the heading data and you lucky people are the ones who get to try it out!

The latest version of the database, 5.014, is the first public release of the PGPSW database that is ready made as an MTC file so you no longer need to create your own from the ASC files.

Simply select the sat-nav system of 'MioMap CE' and then download the 'UK - MioMap V3 (beta)' MTC file. We have made use of sallyann's software and are incredibly grateful for her help over the last month or so as well as to all those who have helped out in various ways.

Installation instructions can be found here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-mio.php

Please bear in mind hat some of the heading info may not be up to date or even present so please do submit it in the usual way on the camera submission page or if you have a huge list that would take too long to manually input then just drop me a PM and I'll give you the email address to send them too.

Cheers, and enjoy!

MaFt

PS - please post any comments in this thread: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=290121

Thank you, MaFt! We have been waiting for this moment with great anticipation.

I'm sure we will all do our best to send in updates and corrections to the direction data in the usual way.

Hopefully this thread will now fade away as users will no longer need to build their own files.
