Can anyone tell me how to get the menu titles back to match the icons? EG Add favorite says 'Turn off map display', but they are all jumbled |

Try a reset (botton underneath) to start with.

Hi TW, Pressing reset will not solve the situation as if I change the disc then everything is OK (I have different dics for different countries). I'm sure it is something to do with the limit to POI's on GO 300. Thanks for the reply. |

I assume you mean sd card not disc? Have you changed the data.chk file recently to get spoken camera warnings? If so the symptons could be caused by you using the wrong download for the version of your software. _________________ Peter

Hi Peter, you are correct, I did mean SD card.
I have now resolved, but not by nowing exactly how.
I hooked up both the working (menu) SD card and the problem menu card. I then copied accross all the files in the route dir from the good to the problem SD Card, overwriting all dup files.
It has worked and I can now pop over to Switzerland in the morning and find my way around.
Thank you, for it was you that gave me the idea of over writing the files.
Have a great week-end, Rick. |

Probably a wrong tomtom.mnu file. Have you ever installed any third party apps? |
