I have installed poi capture now on 3 different types of tt and followed the instructions to the letter. All is showing normal when i press to capture new cam and tt states it has saved the file. But when i look at the file to upload it shows 0 dat which to me means it has not captured it.

Is anyone else having this problem Evil or Very Mad

Thanks Old Boy,
I will up-grade to 5.202 and install the "POICapture utility" as there are two cameras near me that are not in the system.
thanks again

Don't forget you can save cameras manually too. Just store the positions in a POI category and email it to the camera guys.

Reset the GO (eject and re-insert the SD card) and then try to do it again. Or, if you have more than one map installed, switch maps back and forth. There's an error in the SDK that will cause the behaviour you see.

ok, try this:

delete the 0 byte file, and then from within TomTom create a new POI category called "PocketGPSCameras"

Then try running POICapture again

Does it have anything to do with the number of poi categories??

I have the full set of cameras minus the continental ones

- remove and replace the SD card
- from within TomTom create a new POI category called "PocketGPSCameras" (or verify it's there).
- Then add a POI to that category from within TomTom.
- Then verify the file size. Please report back.

Could this be the reason

If so, would it be better to just install the single file version Question
