Its worth taking a look at the readers mounts section of this website to gain an idea of the different mounting solutions available for a PDA.

You do need to purchase a jacket to hold/power/charge the pda and then a plastic mount to mount it to your car.
A good supplier for mounts is Brodit they make mounts for most makes of cars. http://www.brodit.com _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

I have a Arkon power mount that I got from ebay for £30 that is very good there are other makes too, I would get one of these as the PPC sound is not very loud |

To avoid confusion, it's a 'cradle' that holds the PPC and in the case of Brodit, you also need a car specific ProClip to affix the cradle to the dash (a no holes mounting solution).
A jacket is an older system for expansion used on 36/37/38/39/54/55xx series iPAQ's with options such as GPS, CF, Camera, PCMCIA being available in jacket form. These do not fit current models and the jacket system has now been dropped, see here for an example _________________ Darren Griffin |

I presume the 512 card is to load more than the UK maps on?
Got some homework to do hunting down the best prices. I do like the bluetooth solution idea. Although it does not have the portability of the Mitac the extra bit of effort moving the GPS from one car to another, on that odd time I need to, is probaly worth the extra sat lock capability.
Like the Brodit RH mount and the Arkon powered Mount. Def going for Co pilot and just struggling ti pick a good but cheap PDA. 2210 looks likely but I don't trust the import option on ebay and will probably go for one of the suppliers showing here. Altough GlobalPositioningSystems.co.uk do some nice bundles and prices |

I’ve only installed the UK maps, if you only want to use your PPC for navigation only and don’t want to install other maps except the UK one then 128 MB will do |
