Hi all,
Hope you can help with a couple of questions;
1) Is there any way that when I go to Map View that it will go to where I am rather than having to start on 0-500 mile scale and scour the country for the Blue arrow? (The circle with the cross in seems to please itself where it turns up).
2) Is there a way of re-arranging the order of my Favourites. I'd rather put my most frequently used ones near the top or be allowed to shuffle the pack etc or do i have to re-visit them all and re-assign?
Thanks

In Properties enable the 'Keep GPS Position On Screen' or something like that option! That will launch Map View with your current position centered.
If I recall correctly, the favourites can be re-ordered. Switch to Favourites View and do it from here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

That will keep the map snapped to your current position whenever you have a GPS fix - if you try to move the map around it'll keep snapping back.
If you just want to jump to your current position then be able to move the map around, leave that option turned off and simply tap the GPS fix symbol (a set of bars and a number) at the top right of the screen to jump to your position. _________________ Barry Davies

It's an option on the top-left menu, same as where you switch between Map and Navigator views, etc. Select Favourites to see a scrollable list of your Favourites. Tap & hold on the one you want to change, then select Edit... on the menu that pops up. You can now change its name, description, and location in the list. _________________ Barry Davies

Take a tip from me and don't bother with Favourites apart from Home. Set up a group of POIs (you can even call them "favourites"- that way you will not loose them when eventually your system crashes. POIs are stored on the memory card.

When in Map view, just keep stylus on location, and then choose "Add as point of interest" In type box choose <New type> and overtype with whatever you want to call them. Easy then to add more to that category. It will initially show as a Black asterisk in a yellow box, but you can change the icon when you get a bit more experience.
