Can anybody help
I have D/L the POI speed camera database file else where on this site, read though the instructions, when I try load the a CSV file into the POI editer it returns the error unknown format,
The instructions mention that the you open the relevent speed camera in 'NOTEPAD' to edit the top line, why, CSV files can be edited in excel, can the relevent CSV file be edited in excel without problems
How do Identifiy which one relevent to me, is there list of which files cover which areas.

Any help on the above will be much appreciated
It returns the Unknown format error because you used Excel, not Notepad. You have to use Notepad because, as you have found out, Excel doesn't work. Forgive me if I sound rude, but we don't just say Use Notepad for fun!
As to which files are relevant to you, what types of camera do you want to get alerts for? _________________ Tim

is there thread for incorrect camera speeds
It was suggested some time ago that a thread, where people could post camera additions, deletions and amendments prior to the next database release, be placed in the database forum.
The idea was that if anyone posted corrections, as you have done, they would be in one location for all to manually amend their own copy of the database if they so wished rather than wait for the changes to appear in the latest release after which time the thread could be emptied ready to start again.
This suggestion, first mooted by drummer in this thread back in september, was never implemented. _________________ Ian.
