Just started using an ICN 630 with v2 software and went on a trip to Sheffield from Southampton this week.

It routed me up the M3, M25 to get to the M1. I prefer the A34, M40, A43 to M1. Is there any way to make it block out certain roads in advance?

The V2 software does not show the new flyover on the M4/A34 junction or the new road bypassing Silverstone.

Can someone kindly tell me if V3 shows these changes and also how often do the software versions get updated. I need to consider if I should buy V3 or wait for V4.

Many thanks.

I can see the A43 bypassing to the east of Silverstone. Is this what you are referring to?

The software versions are usually released every twelve months.

yep, that's what I meant. Last weeks trip showed me going across fields on V2. What about the A34 / M4 junction at Cheively, does it show the new road cutting out the r'bout if you wish to stay on the A34?

Unfortunately the new flyover on the M4/A34 junction has not made it onto the current v3 maps.
