Hi all. Happy New Year!!!!! Tomorrow I am changing my maps from SD card to Compact Flash card. Do I need to reactivate them and if yes how do I do it without a hard reset and re installing Tom Tom, I have an Ipaq 2210. Is Janes Voice an important part of the activation? Also can I change Tom Tom to calculate shortest, quickest route???? And Lastly can I change the voices in Navigator or am I stuck with Jane forever???
Many Thanks |

- you can change storage location without reactivation. Be sure not to delete the axs file in main memory.
- voices are separate, and you can install another one if you so choose. Voices are available from TomTom's support site
- You can change Navigatro to calculate the shoretest route but due to a program bug it will fall back to quickest route at the next detour. Don't bother. _________________ Lutz

Thanks for your reply, so if I just transfer everything on my SD card to the CF card, I should have no problem then??? |

Correct.
TomToom _may_ initially have problems finding the maps in their new place but after a restart that should be solved. _________________ Lutz
