Origin B2 GPS with SPV E200 Phone for Sat Nav

Apologies if this has already been asked before, but if it is I haven't been able to find it.

I have a SPV E200 phone and have ordered the Origin B2 speed trap detector.

I've seen that Origin have now bought out a cradle with GPS passthrough which allows compatible PDAs to use it's GPS signal to provide SatNav capability.

I'm a big fan of my colleague's Tom Tom Go module and have been offered a second hand Tom Tom Mobile package, minus the GPS receiver and cable (ie just the SD Card, manual & installation poster).

My question is, would the Tom Tom Mobile work using the SPV E200 (which it is compatible with) and the GPS signal from the Origin B2, or does the Tom Tom software only work with their own hardware? If so, what cables would I need to purchase to link them together?
