The Channel Isles don't exist on the mapset at all. The Scillies are there in outline, but no roads or features are mapped. _________________ Tim |

Thanks for the answer,
Who do I complain to and get my money back from?
Navman, or Teleatlas? |

Have reported the missing maps to teleatlas, the report ID is

Oh I'd agree the Scilly Isles have view roads, but Guernsey, Jersey, and Alderney have roads, quite extensive at that.
As for getting money back, the Navman Blurb states COMPLETE maps of the UK. Guess I have answered my own question, have a go at Navman |

While the Scillies form part of the County of Cornwall, and therefore should be included in any "Complete maps of the UK", the Channel Islands are not part of the UK. The Isle of Man is also excluded since it doesn't form part of the UK either. Navman could change their blurb to read "Full coverage of Great Britain (excluding Scilly Isles)" and would be correct in that claim (as far as I'm aware). _________________ Tim |
