I bought CoPliot Live 5 from Global just recently and found that I was not happy with it. It wasn't exactly 'broken' and to be fair it 'does what it says on the box'. It just didn't fill my needs. I contacted their Customer Support (CoPilots' support is of the answering machine 'Leave a message and we'll ring you back' variety which is not much use unless you are able to sit by the phone for days on end) to check that I had installed it properly and got through without hassle to a very helpful guy who seemed to know the product inside-out. Unfortunately it turned-out that what I wanted was not in the program.
I contacted Simon Pitts at Global and without hesitation he offered me a full refund. No quibble - no attempt to tell me that because it wasn't broken I couldn't get a refund. An RMA form arrived by email immediately.
The original delivery took some beating too - I orderd at 4pm one day and it arived at 08.15 the next morning.
As can be seen from this forum Simon Pitts also takes the trouble to respond to messages left on it concerning his Company.
Brilliant service from a Company that obviously cares about its' customers.

Hi, all first time posting, though have been lurking for a while....
Bought a Fortuna Clip On from GlobalPostioningSystems, about a month ago just before disappearing off to the states, the devices worked wonderfully all the way from Chicago to New Orleans, but just as we turned North (to avoid hurricane Ivan) it died....one evening perfect....next morning dead!
Phoned GlobalPositioningSystems and told them my tale of woe...no problem at all RMA by email within minutes and a request for me to put the postage receipts inside the return parcel so that they could refund me the postage!!!!!!!! :O :D
Understand that the device arrived back with them on Tuesday....
Yesterday (Thursday) I received two emails from them 1 to confirm receipt and very shortly after another to confirm a replacement was on its way...though I knew this already as they had also sent an SMS message to my mobile, including track and trace and order numbers!!!!!!!!!!!
The replacement received today by special delivery, is a new fully sealed box and has actually come with an extra couple of accessories that weren't in the original package.......
I've been buying online for years and actually run the UK Electronic Ordering System for a certain UK based Car Manufacturer.... but I have never encountered the high level of both on and off line customer service that this firm has given me..... I'll definitely be going back for the rest of my kit!!! (when my personal bank manager allows!!)
If you are dithering about who to buy from...stop now and head over to www.globalpositioningsystems.com!!!
Lecture ends!!!!! Lol!!!!!!! |

I bought the Fortuna Clip-On with Prymnav s/w bundle, arrived next day but I had problems with it. After a short call to their tech support I advised that I'd prefer a refund. No problems, they collected & provided a prompt refund.
In my opinion it's not if things go wrong, it's how the problems are resolved that matters - they came through for me.

I do agree with that, and ALK (CoPilot) certainly has lots of progress to do in this area until I'll get off their case :-)
So far, not so good...
