Could someone advise me if it is possible to add safety camera POI to this device, and how you would go about this.

Thanks

Mark

This product uses different software to TomTom Navigator 3 - and doesn't work with add-on software like CheckPOInt. You're limited to whatever POI alerting features are built in.

To get the POI files onto your system and keep them updated, I suggest you use POIEdit. There's instructions on how to install and use this software here. Note that when downloading, many people have found that the first download link for the software doesn't work - use the second (the one not marked recommended).

It's using the new NavCore engine which the Palm OS and GO uses, so I believe it's just the case of copying the OV2 and BMP file into the country directory on your storage card, and then going into the Manage POI option (if it's in the menu structure).
