I see that the AA website states that their system supports full postcodes. Can anyone recognise the software that they are using?

It's a new piece of software. I have been in contact with them for the past couple of weeks and guess what ? We'll be getting a review copy soon! |

Unique to AA Navigator: Full 'street-level' postcodes. Drive straight to 'XY12 3AB'
Full GB mapping from Navteq, includes M6 Toll Road
well this could be an interesting review :-) _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack

it will be interesting as to who has developed it, things like the blue screen for motorway and green for the a roads.
its a bit pricey for standalone software/hardware though. _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack

the pricing to me looks about right cosidering tomtom and co pilot were over 120 for soft ware only when released _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Well if the AA can do full post codes (assuming it works) I don't see why the other major players can't offer the same.
If it is simply money then OK Centrica is big, but isn't Brunswick big too albeit in the US? _________________ Ian.
