Use serial cable on SP2 and Navigator GPS and it works a treat.

I haven't got a COM2 option, only Serial Cable on COM1; Serial Cable on SP2; or COM3 (plus USB, IR and Bluetooth).

Can't get mine to pick up any satallites.

Serial Cable on SP2 use this one Wink btw you dont have to uninstall the medion software just get a bigger sd card.

Has anyone had a problem entering street addresses? Please see this topic in posts to beginers lounge. I think Diplo may be right and the cut down(?) navigon doesn't like the tele atlas mapping. This is my first gps purchase and I wonder if I will be lost in France next year

I'll head over to the beginners lounge in a mo but in the meantime i've had no problem entering street addresses. Pretty much first time every time i get what i'm looking for..

On the other hand i managed to borrow a friends Ipaq with Tomtom3 and whilst i liked the interface and the routing functions (avoiding certain rounds and route recalc) i found it a bloody nightmare to find the streets i was after.

If someone would write some software with the interface of TomTom and the functions/ease of use of Navigon they'd be onto a winner.

I have used both and have them installed on my Medion ppc2500.I have found ukpostcodes a great tool for TT3 full postcode supporthttp://www.digitools.co.uk/ukpostcode.php
But the navigon routing to me is better Wink

I meant to mention that aswell Dice... (i've had a few beers now Embarassed )

Routing in Tomtom3 is appauling... I'd let it work out a couple of routes for me when i know full well where i'm going. It seems to take you some very odd routes and if you ignore the route and take a wrong turn to follow a route you know to be good it's recalc'd routes are shocking.

As i say...interface looks a lot smarter and is easier to use with the big buttons. Anything else and give me Navigon.
