I've got a new Emtac Trine, and after some teething troubles with my H3970 and PPC2003 everything is working fine. Really impressed with the Trine!
The thing I am struggling with is the datalogger. How do I download its contents? There are a couple of utilities that came with it on CD but they are basic at best and have no instructions.
Is the datalogger turned ON by default? If so how do I down load the log?
I have a BT USB dongle on the PC so I'm trying to download straight to that, not the PPC.
Is there any other software that will work?

The datalogger is not enabled by default. You need to turn it on and view it using their software. You can also set all the parameters -- do you want it to log when position changes by x metres, or after every x seconds, for example. The software is a bit cryptic, but if you work with it you can figure it out.
Unfortunately, there is no Palm (or PocketPC) application. I have used BT Serial Pro to connect to the datalogger from my palm. You could issue commands through this program, and then dump the output to the screen and cut-n-paste it into a memo. Clumsy, but workable.
Regards,
