Mobile GPX file size too big

I have an issue with the mobile gpx file exceeding 5mb? This prevents me uploading it to the my Audi website as this is the maximum file size allowed. Can anyone tell me if there is a smaller version on the database that will work with an Audi. Currently I select 'Other' GPX files from the database. This weeks release is 5034kb in size.

Gpx is just a text file. I am unaware of Audi systems but would it be possible to split the downloaded gpx file into two halves on your computer and then upoad these two new files to your Audi?
