Not tried, remind me tomorrow
Usually it scans for satellites, and that takes a while. _________________ Satnav:

I was talking out of my .....
The 'agree' thingy does go after about 15 secs.
What takes a couple of minutes is the auto change from the 'where to' and 'view map' screen to the animated navigation screen.
I never liked touchong the screen (fingerprints) so I left it alone. _________________ Satnav:

It's just that I can't remember where my finger has been, but I can guess
Main reason is that my unit is out of reach. These Civics have a very deep dash. _________________ Satnav:

Ah Hah. So you are not averse to touching the screen then, it's just because you can't reach it? |

If I lean forward I can reach it, but, these new glass screens look horrible with loads of fingermarks as they stand out more.
I just let it fire up automatically and I never touch it so it stays clean. _________________ Satnav:

Then put a matt display protector on it. Fingermarks don't show up anywhere near as much. |
