Just a word of caution as tonygold says, they "should" add 12 months to your services etc but do check & contact support if you don't see a full/additional 12 months.

Tony is right. TomTom usually appends 12 months on to whatever time you have remaining.

Mine wasn't due to expire until November 2016 but having taken advantage of the discount, it now expires in November 2017.

Last time I updated it did not add on to the existing sub, just showed a straight 12 months from renewal date. When I contacted support, I was told it had been set up 'in parallel', and they corrected it.

My Traffic Sub had just expired, so I've happily taken advance of the discount.

My current 2 year map deal doesn't expire till next April. Does anyone know whether I can extend that by purchasing now or whether a new map deal would replace the old one?

Up to 50% discount (and the 20MAPS code still works too) for many maps BUT seemingly only for the "Map Update Service (1 year) Latest Map + 4 updates" in most Europe mapshop sites & Australia but not USA/Canada or NZ and others so do check carefully.
I'm guessing these discounts will only be around for a few weeks before the next 980's start arriving next month?
