Yes I do 1000s of miles with TomTom on my iphone ( latest IOS, Latest TT - Well to be honest last weeks version)) and there is only one place that I know of where it crashes.
It's in Leeds, Yorkshire. Junction of Hunslet Road / near John Smeaton Viaduct.

Not tried it in that part of leeds as usually go hunslet road then over to the m621. but have had it stop a few times on hunslet road.
The main areas I've seen it crash are around junction 40 of the M1 and going up the A1 towards Newcastle where all the roadworks are.
This is on a nexus 6 running nougat (but was also previous os versions), and I have now reduced the apps on the device so only running the following
Auto Guard Dash Cam
Car Home Ultra (gives dock interface)
CamerAlert
TomTom Go
I then tether the phone to my Pixel XL for the data to receive traffic updates, but I still get the issue of crashing like I did when just using the mobile sim.
