Hi all,
I have followed the instructions but when I insert the SD card into the slot and select 'NAVI' there is no option to upload the downloaded files (Mercedes Command UK cameras file).
Any suggestions on other options to get this uploaded or what I may be doing wrong? I think my command system is powered by Tom Tom.
Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem (2013 c63 with the latest nav and command update) I've just followed the instructions as well, nothing seems to be happening. |

I have a 2015 C200 AMG Line with the Comand System and have no problems uploading the Camera Database
Firstly make sure you create a folder called - PersonalPOI - (without the dashes) in the route of the SD Card. The spelling and capitals are important
Then copy the 2 extracted .gpx files to the PersonalPOI folder
After that, all I do is insert the SD card into the car slot and leave it. After a couple of minutes if I drive off the database has automatically loaded and I receive camera alerts as expected
That's all I have to do!
I hope this works for you |

Can you confirm that you get absolutely no notice of the fact that you have plugged it in or that it is doing anything or has loaded. Can you subsequently remove the SD or is the data accessed on the fly from the SD? |

I get no notification that it has loaded other than when driving a chime is heard as you approach a speed camera. At the same time I get a yellow circle around the camera icon on the SatNav screen. I seem to remember having to go into the SatNav POI menu and having to turn sounds ON to get the chime
And yes you must leave the SD card plugged in |

Thanks for the confirmation. Others seem to be waiting for it to 'do something' when they plug the SD in. I haven't got one, just wanted clarification for others. |

Just to clarify the final settings
Once you have given the SD card time to download to the car do the following in Navi Mode:-
Slide the controller down
Select Options
Select Personal POIs
Select Show On Map
Select Alert When Approaching
And that's it you should find it all works now
Good luck!! |
