on my old toshiba e400 i had a home screen as well as the today screen, in which i could see battery life, and a list fo running programs.
now ive changed to a HP 2210 i no longer seem to have this home screen. does anyone know where it is, or if there is a setting for it?

Hi rog20VT,
I’m not aware of anything similar. I’m sure that you know the following:
Running Programs List
Start | Settings | System Tab | Memory | Running Programs
Battery
Start | Settings | System Tab | Power
Although it looks a long process, it doesn’t take too long to do.

cheers | I have this running on my 2210 and does 50% of what you require! I'll find the other 50% later http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cache:Ol9nwFnR1msJ:www.pelmarinc.com/html/pocket_pc.htm+wisbar&hl=en

guys thanks for the replies. however i dont actually need to monitor my battery life etc, i can go into thew settings, but i was just confused as to why the home screen isnt on this model when they use the same software.
the home screen was just the way i wsa used too, and the 2210 seems like a beginners PDA the way that the software is laid out.
heres a photo of the screen my toshiba used to have but the ipaq doesnt.
