After a long flirtation I am now completely sold on Windows phone rather than an increasingly bloated Android system. There are now enough apps to cater for most tastes and CamerAlert is conspicuous by its absence. I now use Sygic Speedometer which is rapidly developing into a very good app. Much better than Trapster IMHO. Surely if it's good enough for Sygic, it should be good enough for Pocket GPS!!

I'm nit sure how it would work with back ground running on lower end devices.
Though this should be solved on 8.1 with more data being allowed to SD card storage. It would be nice to have the OS supported. I'm not sure if there's enough market share yet. But we live in hope

Another Windows phone used with Co-pilot 9 but missing cameralert!.
Is it a lot of work to write an app for the windows phone 8.1 system I know the expense would be there as you would need Visual Studio 2013 since VS2012 only supports up to WP8

I use Nokia Here Drive+ which came free on my Nokia 620. It has traffic and free worldwide maps.

All it needs is PGSPW CamerAlert.
