Hi all
Just bought a tomtom via 135 and although as a sat nav, its good, it has no audio out socket (my 720 did) and the audio quality/volume on phone calls is utter crap, dont think tomtom should be allowed to advertise it as a feature coz in my opinion, it aint fit for use, anyone else have the same problem?
Bring back the socket tomtom!

Incoming call volume or outgoing?
You do realise the incoming volume needs to be adjusted during an actual call? Although it LOOKS like the same slider as the normal volume control, it's actually doing a different setting. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Hi and thx for the reply
It is both in and out, sounds like those phones we used to make as kids out of cans and string. If there is a seperate control for phone call volume i'd be surprised and i have tried the adjusting the volume when in a call, all to no avail.

I had the same problem with my Via 135, I received a call but the quality was so bad I hung up and switched to my Bluetooth earpiece before calling back, the person on the other end of the line could hear me fine through the BT earpiece but said the quality of the previous call (via the tomtom) was terrible and it kept breaking up.
The handsfree facility was the main reason I chose the Via 135 over other (newer & updated) TomTom models without this feature, I obviously made the wrong choice as I still ave to drive with that annoying old Bluetooth device sticking in my ear. . . But it works perfectly. |
