Hi
I have upgraded my TomTom Go to 4.40 and it works a treat. I downloaded the 'code search' files, and installed the one I was looking for, which was WN North West. When I try to navigate to the WN codes all I get are codes starting with WN8, which are fairly close to me. I am trying to find a WN3 *** postcode.
Can someone tell me where I am going wrong, or is that the full complement of WN codes included in WN.
My case arrived today and it is really very good. Now I can carry it when I take it out of my car and go shopping ot whatever.
Laurie

I downloaded some codes and found that if you were searching for FY1 1FY and it didn't appear on the screen I think if I typed in either FY1 1FY or 1 1FY it listed it, try it for the one you want. |

When I am in the POI code search window there are no facilities for typing anything in. All you can do is select one of the post codes that are available. The only ones that show up on WN are WN8*** are I am trying to get WN3***

Don't you get a little keyboard sign in the bottom left hand corner of the screen?
I thought the codes were great, just wish when you entered the code that you could also enter the house number of the street aswell, instead of it just planning the route to the centre of the road. |

Thanks Mr Rubber Gloves. Now I have it working superb. I must say it beats the backside off Autoroute.
My wife now can sit back and relax, instead of trying to read maps for me. I had a trip out to the centre of Manchester yesterday and it was brilliant. Just the job when youth is not on by side.
