I have installed CameraAlert onto the latest version of Android. l think am misunderstanding how this works as II can not get it to integrate with Google maps or Navfree. When I run the app bt itself I get maps and cameras but not Navigation. When I run navigation from Google or Navfree I get no cameras. I have set up alerts fir cameras in each but cannot see how to integrate
I have checked insrallation link but thus just takes you back to the app install exe
Sorry if answered well elsewhere but now finding thus frustrating

Hi Aflac7, It sounds as though you have it set up correctly. CamerAlert is not a navigation app, it sole job is to alert you to the proximity of camera sites. You can have CamerAlert running in the background of your smart phone with a navigation app in the forground, when you are near a camera, it shall pop up and alert you in accordance to your settings.
There is a manual somewhere on these pages but I cant find a link to it at the mo.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Edit - Here's the manual http://www.cameralert.com/android-manual/, use the links in the Blue Highlighted Box to navigate around. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

There is no way for us to integrate within any app, CamerAlert is a standalone app that can run 'alongside' another nav app, but not integrate into it. _________________ Darren Griffin |
