I've had a look around the forum and there looks some great information on here and I'm hoping someone has a bit of knowledge about current model sat navs.

Me and 4 guys from work all bought Snooper S5000's a few weeks a go. We've had nothing but trouble with them routing down inappropriate routes so had to send them back.

All 5 of us are now looking for a replacement. I'm trying to find info on the Tomtom 7150 i think it is and garmin dezi. Trouble is all the reviews I've seen contradict each other Sad

Budget is around the £350 mark give or take. I just want something that works Smile

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi stokiedan

both the tt7150 & gamin dezl are dedicated hgv models. So i guess that you are looking for suggestions for satnavs for larger vehicles?

There are a few professional drivers here who hopefully can pass some tips on to you.

Generally, from reading the posts here over several years, I think that members have fewer problems with TT provided routes. Whether this is the same on professional models though, I don't know.

For a link to the best prices once you decide what to buy, compare prices to this site -

Thanks for the advice and link. I really appreciate it.

I should have been more clear. Yes I'm after a dedicated truck sat nav. The whole hgv sat nav market seems to be a minefield. Surely it shouldn't be this difficult to find a product that works. For every good review I read there seems to be a bad review. I'm struggling to settle on a particular unit.
In fact my search has now got me considering outsiders such as a navman too.

Worth looking at

The 'where to buy' is a bit confusing, they all open up Eastern European shops and in their languages but you could use the 'Contact us' and ask.
