Long drive back from Marseilles yesterday and not one warning from CamerAlert re cameras etc., on my CoPilot /HTC One device. Is there no way you can put the responsibilty for using your detection over to us users ? So I relied on my old Touch HD with your database in it, which seemed to pick up all, but not some as I realised. |

As I understand it, with your 'regular' CameraAlert database download (which we've all been using for years) you are given the option to download France and Switzerland in the European database. But from what I can see using it yesterday, the Android CamerAlert doesn't seem to have this flexibility, with no France or Switzerland camera options, ? If wrong, I stand corrected.
All I can say, is that bombing up through France, Android warnings were non existant, but the old style warnings worked OK with my Touch HD, also on the windscreen. |

The Android app downloads ALL the cameras (France and Switzerland included).
The only thing I can think of is either the app crashed in the background or maybe, because the app has directional alerts, they were on the other side of the road?
Without knowing the exact route and which sites did/didn't warn it's difficult to say.

I can confirm MaFt's comments. My CamerAlert was warning me throughout my trip up & down France last week.
A while ago, after downloading a newer version of CamerAlert, all my warnings went silent, it was my settings. Double check your settings.
(Sorry Guys, CamerAlert is a brilliant App, probably the best and It's fantastic that you take and implement User Feedback, but boy it's getting complicated ) _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Thanks, you're right...but why ? I haven't changed anything...would it be due to trying to update mid week somehow , down on the coast ? I always tend to leave well alone with anything that's working ! (And it's a new HTC One X) |

Possibly if you flipped between mph & kmh you may have inadvertently touched something else. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
